Murrumbooee<\/strong> \u2013 An Australian aboriginal word meaning “cascading water”.
Murrumbooee is a lovely cascading water way in an area providing natural remedies and “bush tucker” (food) and is a highly regarded place by the local Aboriginal people for tens of thousands of years for its magical and soothing effect on visitors. This pristine water area is near the town of Grafton in Northern NSW Australia. In this magical place, Lemon Myrtle trees, Bay trees and an array of fragrant herbs were found growing naturally. This was the beginning of the Murrumbooee 10 year journey in developing exquisite flavours and recipes to make delicious condiments for family, friends and for national and international distribution and export.<\/p>\n

The “Murrumbooee” brand was acquired in 2016 and is operated by Good Food Addict Pty Ltd for the purposes of expanding it globally from its original position of supplying over 400 Australian retailers. By adding new products such as Murrumbooee Infant Formula, special \u201chemp\u201d based clothing, a Surf Wear, Coffee, Wine and even a women\u2019s and men’s skin care range in development, it is planned to re-launch Murrumbooee products in 2025.<\/p>\n

Our first Murrumbooee branded food success was our Australian Bush Salt & Pepper Mix, an exquisite multi-layered aromatic heat and flavour mix and meat rub. This was quickly followed when we had an abundance of citrus to experiment with and the Three Citrus Marmalade product was born. These products make great Christmas gifts or all year round treats. Our products are intended to enhance all meats, curries, cheeses, to flavour dips, pizzas or pies. Their usage is only limited by ones imagination.<\/p>\n

Being in the food industry and growing our own chemical free produce for the Australian market has always been our vision. GFA has significant interests in the propagation and cultivation of Hemp and Moringa. Both of these plants have similar characteristics, however Moringa has less governance and stigma than Hemp. We powder parts of these plants and extract oil via cold pressing which we infuse into Murrumbooee branded food products, and we sell the powder and oil separately as well. In addition we manufacture Animal Fodder for equine, pig, cattle and sheep in differing formula.<\/p>\n
